1. What is a Pegboard?
As its name suggests, a pegboard is a board with numerous holes perforated at regular intervals. The spacing between the holes is available in different types, such as 25mm or 30mm.

Pegboards can also be recommended as partitions in offices or stores. By attaching legs, they can be easily set up on the floor, allowing you to divide spaces simply. While dividing a space, you can also attach hooks to create additional storage.
3. Key Points When Choosing a Pegboard
Pegboards are available in many variations with different board sizes, hole diameters, and spacing. It is important to choose the right board based on your intended use and installation location. Here are two points to check when selecting pegboards for stores or offices:
3.1 Check the Load Capacity
If you want to use a pegboard for storage, checking the load capacity is crucial. A pegboard with low load capacity may break or drop items if heavy objects are placed on it.
For hanging heavier items, choose a thicker, sturdier pegboard with high load capacity. Increasing the number of fasteners used to attach the pegboard can also help improve its strength.
However, thicker boards are also heavier. If hanging on a wall, consider whether there is a secure way to fix the board to prevent it from falling.

If you want to attach a pegboard to a wall, you must leave a small gap between the wall and the board. This is because, once installed, the ends of hooks and fasteners may stick out at the back.
For small and lightweight pegboards, you can use long pushpins. For heavier boards, use multiple specialized fasteners or screws to ensure stability and prevent falling.
If you do not want to drill holes in your wall, we recommend installing columns (like tension rods) and attaching the pegboard to them.
5. Prepare Storage Parts Together with Your Pegboard
If you want to use a pegboard as wall storage, you must also prepare the hooks to attach to it. Hooks can generally be divided into three types:

Be aware that once you place or hang something on one area, you can no longer install another hook in that space. For example, if you use a hanging hook, the space directly below it will be occupied.
